Network module

It has a few different parts:

Network Status Update

Who has access to it: CD & Network Commission. ND (Network Director) can edit and view everything, FD (Financial Director) and NetCom have limited permissions.

As an ND & NetCom, on this page, I should be able to see a list of all Agorae, each new Agora appearing when it is created in Statutory module. They are displayed in chronological order, from the latest to the oldest.

When I click on any Agora, I should be able to see a sort of “spreadsheet” with all Antennae and Contact Antennae as rows and Antenna Criteria as columns. Each cell can be “empty”, “yes” (criterion fulfilled), “no” (criterion not fulfilled), “exception” (exception given) or “not obligatory” (the local does not need to fulfil this criterion due to the status of Contact-Antenna).

The data in the spreadsheet is taken from other modules, as ND I should be able to change any cell (in the spreadsheet itself or by clicking on a separate Antenna Criterion to be able to change it on a separate page?)

The columns In the spreadsheet are:

  1. Communication – by definition it is empty for each Antenna, and “not obligatory” for each Contact-Antenna. Can be changed manually by ND and by Network Commissioners.

  2. Members list – “yes” if the local has submitted the members’ list before the respective Agora members’ list submission deadline and the list has at least 5 members. “no” if the members’ list was not submitted at the last Agora or has less than 5 members. Can be changed manually by ND

  3. Membership fee – “yes” if the local paid the membership fee at the last Agora, “no” if the local didn’t pay the membership fee at the last Agora (I can see in Members’ List page that there is a column for Fee Paid – is it supposed to be changed manually or can it take information from the bank account automatically? Or how is it supposed to work?)

  4. Board elections –  for this one I need some changes in the way the Board circles work. Until that, “yes” by definition for every Antenna and Contact-Antenna. Can be changed manually by the ND.

  5. European event – “yes” if there is any Event or Statutory Event in the system in the last 2 years with this local as the organising body (is it possible to also have data from SU website?). “no” if there is none. “not obligatory” for a Contact Antenna that has no event organised. Can be changed manually by ND

  6. Development Plan – “no” by definition for each Antenna and “not obligatory” for each Contact Antenna. Can be changed manually by ND

  7. Agora attendance – “no” if the local did not send delegates to at least one of the last 2 Agoras. Empty in all other cases. Can be changed manually by ND

On the next day after the Agora finishes (or when the ND presses a button that makes it final or whatever), the Network Status Update of that Agora should be “frozen” and no more changes can be made to the spreadsheet by anyone, it can only be viewed.

For any Network Status Update spreadsheet, “frozen” or active, I should be able to export the data in the form of Excel spreadsheet. In the future (not urgent), as ND I should be able to generate an email (a text?) based on the data in the spreadsheet, with the list of all Antennae and Contact Antennae that have “no” in any of the cells.

Each local board in their local profile has a button “Antenna Criteria fulfilment”, where they can see the list of all 7 Antenna Criteria, and the data related to their local from the last available Network Status Update spreadsheet should be displayed (they cannot make any changes, just view). On this page, there should be a text field with short explanations of what is this page (text created by ND).

Rik (08-03-2020): Keep in mind that antenna criteria can change, so maybe a template per Agora? JC/ND should be able to make new templates based on that. Let the board see which Antenna Criteria is currently being fulfilled.

Contacts

It should have the list of all Contacts, with a founding date taken from the page of the Contact.

WILL WRITE MORE SOON

Rik (08-03-2020): Option to upgrade a contact to CA with one button click by ND. Keep track of different kinds of founding dates (interally, CD approved, CdA signed). Updating names/descriptions of circles in case of CdA sign.

Network history

For this, we need 2 statuses for each local: “Current” or “Past”. Past locals are only visible in the Network history and are not displayed anywhere else. For all the rest of the modules, only “Current” locals are displayed.

WILL WRITE MORE SOON

Rik (08-03-2020): Keep track of changes in network history. Downgrades/deletions/refoundings. Which Agora that happened. With the criteria that were not fulfilled and extra information from the ND. Downgrading and deletion should also be done with one button click by CD
