  • Your data from your gmail are now held in your Gsuite account
  • In your new drive, the old data are all structured in the same way.
  • In your old drive, the old files will still be there.
    • Old files should be deleted manually (suggested but not mandatory),in order to avoid confusion (suggested), as well as to avoid people with still access to them to modify a 'dead' document .

Step-by-step guide: 

This method is the most simple: download all the data from one drive, re-upload on the other drive

  1. Login with your new gsuite account aegee-localname@aegee.eu to drive.aegee.eu
  2. Create a team drive by clicking on the icon "Team drives" (on the left), then the giant "+ New" button on top. Call it e.g. "Localname Board"
  3. Add aegee.localname@gmail.com to the team drive
  4. Close the drive of Gsuite
  5. On your computer, in your Downloads folder, extract all the .zip files containing the data you downloaded
  6. Go back to your source drive (aegee.localname@gmail.com) click the gear icon, select "settings"
  7. Check the box "Convert uploads"
  8. Select on the left "Team Drives" → pick your team drive (In this example, "Localname Board").
    1. If you see no "Team Drives", contact us through the helpdesk.
  9. Select "Upload folder" → select the name of the folder you just downloaded.
  10. Profit! All the files will now be uploaded from your computer to the cloud
